A Question to the Readers of Singh Around the World
Dear Gentle Reader,
First let me apologize for not getting a post out in the past few days. I ended up going to Lake Titicaca and the its islands and didn't have access to the internet for awhile.
A quick question to readers of this blog-should I keep the beard or not? As you know during our hike in Patagonia, Patrick and I decided to grow out our beards. I have kept a goatee for a number of years but never had a full beard. We decided to keep our beards for a full month until our hike at Machu Picchu.
Here are a few pictures of me with my beard. In the comment section of the blog enter your vote- Beard or No Beard.

Keep the beard it looks hot...as long as I don't have to kiss you. OUCH! (on many levels)

I don't have any pre-beard bias, so I say keep it. I think you look like a bad ass!

actually the only way to tell you and Suneil apart now is your facial hair...it's creepy how much you two look alike when you go on your "around the world" diet!

Sam, Keep the beard! You look like a total rockstar.

Yeah. I agree. You're gorgeous.
Posted by: Suneil Singh | April 21, 2008 at 08:50 PM
I agree. The beard is not a good look. I know that one of the parts of your trip that you enjoy is meeting lovely ladies and as a lovely lady myself I must tell you that we do not enjoy kissing men with beards.
Your a gorgeous man. Don't cover it up with overgrown facial hair.

Sam, the beard is not to your advantage. While traveling in the wilderness, sure. I would have to see you again after a visit to a talented barber who would shape it appropriately. You're a good looking man and part of your appeal is your personal "transparency". The beard detracts from both.
So enjoy the break from shaving while you're on the road, but for the long-haul, I think not. RSUE
